We recommend that you start a scheme consult if your patient is a member of Discovery Health Medical Scheme or Discovery Primary Care, so that you can also claim for any Videomed or extra nurse services (e.g. vaccinations), performed as part of the visit.
Your patient might need to see a doctor after the assessment, either for chronic or acute care or for a vaccine prescription so starting a scheme consult at the beginning will make it easier for you.
